Before & After School Care

HOURS OF OPERATION

Morning Care hours are 7:00 AM  to 8:15 AM during the school year on school days.  

The Morning Care doors will close promptly at 8 AM. Students who arrive after 8 AM will have to wait with their guardian until 8:20 AM for normal check in.            

FEES AND PAYMENTS

Morning Care is a fee-based program. Families will be charged $5 per day per family anytime before 8am arrival. Payments are billed monthly directly through FACTS.

SAFETY PROCEDURES

Students will enter through Feist Hall doors (left of main doors). On the outside of the building it is marked with a large #3.

DROPPING OFF CHILDREN

In an effort to reduce the number of adults, visitors and parents in the building, we ask that students be dropped off at the Feist Hall door, which is to the left of the main office double doors.  Parents can bring their children to the Feist Hall doors and hand them off to staff if needed.

DAILY ACTIVITIES

Independent materials will be available for students.  Students will have the opportunity to play with puzzles, crosswords or sudoku, color, read or do homework. We strongly recommend sending your child with materials for independent play or work.

We are excited to start our 30th year of After School Care at St. Charles, which is now housed in our school library.  In Spring 2014, with a lot of work from our team, After School Care earned a full non-expiring license as a Child Care Center from the Department of Early Learning.  If you would like to know more about this process and how it affects our program, please contact our principal, Beth O'Reilly, for more information.
