Third Grade

General Information:

During your child’s third grade experience, he or she will use and expand upon the basic skills acquired in second grade through a faith based curriculum. Our overall goal is to provide a balanced program where all children are provided an equal opportunity to grow and develop at their own rate. Students also attend music, library, physical education, and technology classes weekly.

Mrs. Linda Phillips - 3B

Education: Business Administration Degree in Operations Management, Master's Degree in Teaching

In Education Since: On and off for 15 years

At St. Charles Since: 1993

Why St. Charles: After a rewarding career in the Wholesale Hardware industry with my dad and having three kids at St. Charles, I decided to make a change so I went back to school to get my Master's Degree and stepped in as a long-term substitute for Mrs. George. The following year I was hired as a third-grade teacher and taught for 12 years. After a hiatus I am thrilled to be back in my old class, 3B!!!

Outside the Classroom: My family and I enjoy a very large extended family.  My husband and I enjoy golfing and outdoor activities.  My all-time favorite thing to do is waterski and spend time on the water.
