  TRADITION

Jesus Christ is the fullness of God's revelation. Those who encountered Jesus not only wrote down some of their key reflections on what it meant to encounter Jesus in Scripture, but they passed on a living sense of what it meant to follow Christ. TRADITION is the constant belief and practice of the Church. TRADITION in this sense is to be distinguished from local or devotional traditions which often develop in the Church. The Bishops, as the official teachers of the Church interpret what is TRADITION and what are traditions of the Church.
