Saint Charles Borromeo Pre-Kindergarten Program

Our Curriculum

Central to all learning that takes place at Saint Charles Borromeo School is faith. Our Pre-kindergarten program is fully involved in the school faith community. Our Pre-kindergrten students attends mass and prayer services as well as participates in school-wide service projects. Language arts, Mathematics, Science, Religion, and Social Studies are key components of our academic curriculum. We believe our curriculum to be challenging but achievable providing a strong foundation for future academic success.

Enrichment Activities

In addition, the Pre-kindergarten program at Saint Charles allows each child the opportunity to participate in enrichment activities such as Music, Library and Physical Education. Our pre-kindergarten program supports effective teaching practices that will lead to important growth in your child’s intellectual and social development. Our program will provide many opportunities for each child to achieve knowledge and skills necessary to prepare them for kindergarten.

Class Session Days/Times:

Our Pre-kindergarten program is 5 days-Monday through Friday

The Morning session runs from 8:25-11:15 (morning children may attend the Pre-K Enrichment Program from 11:15-3:00 for an additional fee).

The Afternoon session runs from 12:15-3:00 (afternoon children may attend the Extended Care Program from 3:00-6:00 for an additional fee).

How do we apply for the Pre-kindergarten program?

Beginning in December, we will be having monthly Open House opportunities for you to visit our Pre-kindergarten Program. Please see out main calendar or contact the office for dates and times.

If you are interested in Saint Charles Borromeo’s pre-kindergarten program please obtain an application from the front office.
