Financial Aid Applications Due February 11th

Families wishing to apply for tuition scholarships for the 2010-2011 year will need to fill out financial aid information which can be found under the Financial Aid tab on the right of this web page.  The application process has changed from last year so please read the instructions carefully.  Three applications must be completed and submitted: The Seattle Archdiocese Fulcrum Foundation Scholarship application, a St. Charles information form, and a PSAS application.  The PSAS application is new this year.  If you have already completed your PSAS form for Bellarmine and need to add St. Charles students, please go to the PSAS information under Financial Aid and download the PSAS addendum. This will enable PSAS to release information to St. Charles.  All applications must be completed and submitted with documentation before they can be processed.  Don't miss the February 11th deadline!

Molly's Mission:  First Grade Service Project for February!

All of us have been affected by the tragedy of the Haiti earthquake in one way or another. Molly Hightower is a graduate of Bellarmine Prep who lost her life in the earthquake in Haiti. Molly graduated from The University of Portland in June of last year and was working with disabled orphans in Haiti for a year before beginning graduate school. When Molly was home before the holidays she began a shoe drive for the orphans in Haiti. In the few days that she was home she collected over 400 pairs of shoes. Channel 13 News and the Hightower family are working to finish the work Molly began. They are trying to collect enough shoes to fill an entire container. Molly was a classmate, friend, and student to many of the families in 1B. This is a small way that we can keep her mission alive. The first graders will collect, organize, and bag the shoes that are donated. We will deliver the shoes to Molly's father's work and they will get them to the orphans. Molly is an inspiration to us all. The first graders are learning a valuable lesson this year that "You are never too little to make a difference!" Molly was a perfect example of that.
Please clean out those closets and donate by February 11th!
